Arrival at Entebbe international air port, you will be received by the company representative and later transfer to Kampala Accommodation at Nexus/Cassia lodge.
You will depart after breakfast for Jinja and travel through Mabira forest. You will visit the source of Nile, Itanda falls. There are other activities like white water rafting, guard bikes and horse riding which require advance booking accommodation at Haven river lodge or Nile resort.
After breakfast you will leave for Kapchorwa to visit the Sipi falls and later have a cultural walk. Accommodation: Lacom lodge or Sipi river lodge.
Today we will drive to lira via Nyero rock paintings. Accommodation at Lira hotel.
You will depart for Murchison falls national park which lies at the northern end of the Albertine rift valley. The park is bisected by the Victoria Nile, which plunges 45m over the remnant rift valley wall, creating the dramatic Murchison falls where the Nile squeezes through an 8m wicle gorge and plunges’ with thunderous roar into the devils cauldron, creating a trademark rain bow. On the way to the hotel you will have a game drive. Accommodation: Pakuba or Para lodge.
After breakfast, you will have a full morning of spectacular game viewing in search for the big mammals. The afternoon will be spent on an extensive exploration by the boat on the Nile river upstream towards the falls. The launch trip is a unique adventure full of activities and constant surprises. Accommodation: Pakuba or Para lodge.
This day we will drive to Hoima. On the way we will have a visit to the top of falls and nature walk in Budongo forest. Accommodation: Hoima cultural lodge.
You will transfer to Kibale national park on the way you have several stops to view primates and tea plantations. While at the lodge you will have a nature walk around the lodge. Accommodation: Chimpanzee guest house.
Kibale forest is renowned for the greatest variety and highest concentration of primates in East Africa. The visitor centre Kanyanchu is 10 minutes drive away from your lodge. At the centre the rangers will be ready to escort you in the forest in search for the wild chimps. In the afternoon you will visit Bigodi swamp for the guided nature walk with the community guides. Accommodation: chimpanzee guest house.
This day you will visit the Seppya hot springs in Semuliki national park, Mabere ganyanamwiru and crater lakes. Accommodation at Rwenzori view guest house/mountains of the moon in fort portal town.
On the way to Queen Elizabeth national park from fort portal town, you might have good scenery of the Rwenzori Mountains, go via the Equator and have traditional pictures. You will enter Queen Elizabeth National park via the Katunguru gate and have a game drive to Mweya lodge on the peninsula. Accommodation: Mweya lodge.
The best time for game viewing is early in the morning. You will take the channel truck and drive towards katunguru gate to kasenyi in search of the wild animals. We will drive back to lodge via the kasenyi truck to have lunch and later in the afternoon we will have launch trip on the kazinga channel. The kazinga channel is a natural channel of 36km long between Lake George and Lake Edward. Accommodation: Mweya lodge.
After breakfast we will transfer to Ishasha sector which is famous for tree climbing lions. We will have a game drive the way through to the booked lodge in Ishasha. We shall be in time for lunch. In the afternoon, you will have another game drive visit Edward’s flats to see elephants and sometimes lions hunting. Accommodation: Jungle lodge or Wilderness’ camp.
We will wake up early in the morning since this is the best time for observing nature. After an initial scouting expedition, we return to the lodge for lunch. After lunch we depart for Bwindi. Accommodation at Silver back lodge/Buhoma community lodge.
In Bwindi Impenetrable national park, which is a natural world heritage site popular for mountain gorillas and chimpanzee, the two great Africana apes listed as endangered animals in the IUCN Red data Book. This day will call for early wake up to prepare for the life time experience. Trekking can be long or short depending on the where the gorillas are feeding from. Accommodation : Silver back/Buhoma community lodge.
Day 16 After breakfast we will transfer to Lake Mutanda. At the lake you have optional activities to choose from, you can take village walk to the pygmies, a boat trip or swim in the lake accommodation at Mutanda lake resort.
After breakfast we will head to Mgahinga national park, which is part of the a larger Ecosystem, the Vurunga conservation area which includes adjacent parks in Uganda, Rwanda and Congo. It is famous for gorillas, golden monkeys, Batwa trail and volcanoes climbing. This day’s activity depends on you. Accommodation: Mutanda lake resort or Mgahinga lodge.
This day we transfer to lake Bunyonyi which is the deepest lake in Africa . At lake Bunyonyi , there are optional activities of Canoeing, natural walks, swimming and village walks. The choice is yours, accommodation at Natures prime at the island.
After breakfast we will transfer to Lake Mburo National park via Mbarara. On the way you will visit Igongo cultural centre and later have lunch. On the way to lodge you will have a game drive accommodation at Mburo safari lodge?
After an early breakfast, you will have a guided nature walk on foot to the bush. Lunch at the lodge and later in the afternoon a boat trip, accommodation at Mburo safari lodge.
This day we will transfer to Entebbe for your out bound flight back home .As we move out of the park we will have a game drive, water experiment at the equator, lunch and shopping end of Safari.
